This role at KPMG involves joining a team dedicated to solving problems and converting insights into opportunities. The Manager will lead tax planning initiatives, working closely with Partners, and be responsible for directing and reviewing the work of junior staff. Key responsibilities include researching and preparing tax-planning strategies for clients and leading the preparation of tax returns. The ideal candidate is proactive, provides ongoing support, and fosters professional development within the team, while also contributing to attracting new client work.

What We're Looking For

Lead client engagements,Work closely with a Partner on tax planning for clients,Plan and organize teams for tax return preparation,Conduct and present tax research,Review junior staff work for accuracy and completeness,Become part of the tax engagement team for client planning and compliance,Provide ongoing support and mentoring for staff professional development,Collaborate with other office members to attract new work for the firm

Ideal Candidate

Minimum 5 years specializing in tax in a public accounting firm,Professional accounting designation or equivalent,Enrolled in or completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course,Excellent people management skills,Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth,Excellent client service skills with the ability to understand the client's business,Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism,Emphasis on quality and adding value in client offerings and services
