Description
KPMG is seeking a Manager, Tax to join a diverse team of problem solvers focused on turning insights into opportunities for clients. This role involves leading client engagements, collaborating with partners on tax planning, organizing teams for tax return preparation, and conducting tax research. The manager will also review junior staff's work, contribute to tax engagement, mentor staff, and help attract new business to the firm. The ideal candidate will take initiative and provide ongoing support for professional development.
What We're Looking For
Lead client engagements,Work closely with a Partner as a senior team member on tax planning for clients,Plan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returns and conduct and present tax research,Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness,Become part of the tax engagement team in servicing the planning and compliance needs of clients,Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff,Work with other office members in attracting new work to the firm
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 5 years specializing in tax in a public accounting firm,Professional accounting designation or equivalent,Enrolled in or completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course
Minimum Education
Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA)
