Description

The Manager, Procurement Strategy & Transformation at RBC is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making within Global Procurement. This involves leading analytics, developing strategies based on data insights, and solving complex problems related to third-party spend, pricing, and contracts. The role requires leveraging analytical skills to identify optimization opportunities, supporting sourcing engagements, and communicating findings effectively to stakeholders to achieve transformational outcomes across the enterprise.

What We're Looking For

Leverage analytical capabilities to solve problems and support Global Procurement objectives.,Analyze third-party spend, pricing, contracts, and processes to identify optimization opportunities and support sourcing engagements.,Perform RFx modeling, spend analysis and planning, benchmarking, industry research, bid evaluation, deal modeling, and spend forecasting.,Develop category and supplier strategies in partnership with key stakeholders for enterprise-wide implementation.,Drive transformational change across Global Procurement and lines of business.,Compel meaningful outcomes through powerful and effective storytelling adaptable across mediums and audiences.,Partner with stakeholders to manage impacts and change resulting from developed strategies.,Support various strategic initiatives including process re-design, strategy development, budget and priority-setting, and digital culture transformation.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias.,Five years' experience in procurement price modeling, forecasting, and market research.,Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.,Superb written and oral communication skills.,Expert level in Microsoft Office applications (particularly PowerPoint and Excel skills including pivots, complex logic statements, lookups, etc.).,Willingness to challenge mediocrity and embrace change.,Nice-to-have: Experience with MS Access, Power BI, Tableau.,Nice-to-have: Related experience within a matrixed corporate environment.
