Manager, Privacy Risk - Wealth Management Europe

Description

This role involves joining RBC's newly formed Privacy Risk team within Wealth Management – Europe (WME) Data Governance. The successful candidate will support the delivery of the WME Privacy Risk programme, managing team members, providing guidance, and driving performance. Key responsibilities include embedding 'Privacy by Design' in change initiatives, ensuring adherence to the global privacy framework, maintaining the WME Record of Processing, and supporting Privacy Risk Assessments to enhance first-line defense for Privacy risk.

What We're Looking For

Work with key business stakeholders to embed 'Privacy by Design'.,Provide guidance and support across WME to ensure Personal Data is managed in accordance with GDPR and the global privacy framework.,Provide sales and marketing functions with guidance on consent management.,Work with WME business to complete Privacy Risk Assessments.,Support the launch, roll out and education of Privacy Champions.,Work with WME business to complete Legitimate Interests Assessments (LIA) and create and maintain a library of LIAs.,Assist with logging and the assessment of breaches and incidents within WME.,Help WME business understand privacy implications of their processes, embedding Privacy by Design.

Ideal Candidate

Good understanding of GDPR.,Awareness / understanding of the Privacy Program framework.,Strong experience within the financial services industry and good business acumen.,Proficiency in participating in projects with multiple stakeholders.,An adept understanding of stakeholder management / facilitation of meetings.,Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to present or communicate complex concepts in a concise and understandable way to various stakeholders.,Demonstrates the RBCBD values (nice-to-have).,Ability to work on own initiative to achieve required results (nice-to-have).
