Manager, Personal Banking & Commercial Banking Performance Management

Description

This role involves serving as the Finance Lead for FTE analysis and reporting across RBC's Personal Banking and Commercial Banking segments. The manager will enhance cost transparency, develop actionable insights for senior management to control cost growth, and lead Platform Performance Management on investment spend validation and governance. The position also focuses on developing advisory leadership, strategic cost and workforce planning, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

Oversee FTE reporting for Personal Banking and Commercial Banking segments, including analysis and commentary on variances.,Enhance cost transparency and develop modeling for effective cost growth control.,Coordinate with business and functional partners on initiative tracking, acting as an expert on investment spend and benefit validation.,Serve as the End-User Developed Applications (EUDAs) champion, ensuring alignment with Enterprise policy.,Participate in deliverables for Investor Relations and External Reporting quarterly.,Provide insights and transparency for centralized expenses like deposits insurance premium and fraud losses.,Continuously improve processes, standardize, automate, and free-up capacity for value-add analysis.,Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects and information requests.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Finance (Must Have),Highly developed interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and building relationships (Must Have),Self-motivated – ability to work both independently and collaboratively (Must Have),Strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical mindset (Must Have),Strong ability to deal with ambiguity, multiple data sources, and translating data/analysis into key messages and insights (Must Have),Strong communication and presentation skills (Must Have),Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint (Must Have),CPA or similar financial designation (Nice to Have),Knowledge of EPM and RBC Finance tools & processes (Nice to Have)
