Manager, Operations Strategy

Description

The Manager, Operations Strategy role at RBCx focuses on the intersection of strategy, finance, and team enablement. This position involves managing critical functions like invoice processing, budget tracking, and vendor management. It also includes exposure to project intake, prioritization, and resource planning, with an emphasis on process improvement, tool implementation for productivity, and cross-team collaboration to address business challenges. The successful candidate will develop expertise in financial operations, project management, and strategic thinking to link daily execution with broader business goals.

What We're Looking For

Manage invoice processing, budget tracking, and support financial forecasting (FTE, budget tracking),

Assist in vendor and license management, ensuring compliance and cost optimization,

Manage team tool usage and licensing, implement toolset optimization initiatives to enhance team productivity,

Facilitate intake processes and prioritization exercises to align projects with business objectives,

Coordinate project scoping, planning, and risk assessments,

Maintain project management tools and attributions to ensure proper metrics are tracked for reporting,

Document and improve team processes, ensuring adherence to standards,

Identify and escalate roadblocks, collaborating with partners to resolve issues,

Support change management initiatives for new tools/processes,

Promote compliance with organizational policies and enterprise standards

Ideal Candidate

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic execution mindset,

Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage stakeholders,

Experience in process development and continuous improvement methodologies (Nice-to-Have),

Familiarity with vendor management or toolset optimization (Nice-to-Have)
