At KPMG, the Manager, IT Risk Services will join a team focused on providing IT internal audit and IT risk advisory services. This role involves conducting assessments of IT risks and controls, managing engagements, overseeing teams, client management, business development, and leading field engagement teams while mentoring junior staff.
Conduct assessments of IT risks and controls in support of internal and external audit and advisory engagements (e.g., internal controls over financial reporting, IT risk and maturity assessment, IT projects and system implementations, access management, IT governance reviews, IT third-party risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery, cloud security, data governance assessments and reviews, ERP controls and security, Responsible AI and governance).
Manage engagements end-to-end, overseeing teams and managing clients.
Develop risk and control matrices and review procedures.
Manage engagement risk, including quality assurance through file review, engagement planning, development and monitoring, and engagement profitability.
Simultaneously deliver multiple client engagements of varying size, scope and complexity.
Actively participate in business development by increasing awareness of the firm's services, developing and maturing relationships, developing proposals, and identifying opportunities to increase practice penetration.
Perform service delivery tasks such as conducting research, technical testing, writing reports, conducting interviews, and communicating regularly with clients and resources.
Lead field engagement teams and coach/mentor junior staff members.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information technology, Data Science or Computer Science required.
Completion of relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, ISO27001).
5 to 10 years of relevant experience within a large professional services firm.
Strong understanding and experience with IT risk management and assessments in different capacities (e.g., advisor, internal/external audits, implementor).
Experience in the testing of controls in different IT environments.
Experience with IT audits (e.g., financial statement audit support, SOX audit, 52-109).
Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
