The Manager, Investor Centre - Direct Investing is responsible for leading an Investor Centre, a 'relationship hub' focused on High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients within RBC Direct Investing. This role involves achieving client and asset growth targets, managing personnel, developing strategic partnerships, driving new client acquisition, and representing the RBCDI brand. The manager will engage in local market activities, partner with other RBC segments, manage referrals, deliver educational seminars, and provide client feedback to support strategic initiatives.
Manage the Investor Centre and its personnel, focusing on HNW market segments and Royal Distinction clients.
Implement practice management disciplines and partner with DI Senior Relationship Managers, Private Banking, Commercial Banking, and Wealth Management to promote new banking and lending relationships.
Develop and refine internal and external partnerships to support business growth.
Manage incoming referrals from RBC partners and generate opportunities by establishing strong relationships with DI Regional Head and senior RBC partners.
Drive new client acquisition by engaging key partners and focusing on profitable high-value clients.
Offer solutions and tools to facilitate understanding of DI products, services, and procedures.
Network externally with centers of influence (e.g., lawyers, accountants) to generate new business.
Assist RBCDI Regional Head with branch visits and participate in business partner meetings.
Deliver educational seminars and one-on-one client sessions to promote website usage and new account activation.
Provide direct client feedback to Head Office to support strategy initiatives.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a client service role.
2+ years brokerage or investment industry experience.
2+ years in a people leadership role.
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) required for CIRO registration within 6 months.
Post-secondary education.
