Provide strategic, commercial, and financial advice across the lifecycle of infrastructure and real asset projects.,Develop business cases and conduct financial feasibility and market analyses.,Develop complex financial models (project finance, corporate finance, real estate finance) and conduct sensitivity analyses.,Assist in procurements and partner selection processes for joint-ventures.,Assist in bid development for competitive processes.,Support greenfield project development activity across the development lifecycle.,Assist in mapping of concessionary funding and support funding applications.,Conduct market soundings with potential bidders and capital providers.,Arrange debt or equity financings.,Work with multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with other business units of KPMG and 3rd party advisors.,Support on engagement management and client communication.,Stay updated on recent market developments and support idea generation.,Assist in marketing and business development, including pitch book and proposal preparation.,Synthesize analyses and key findings into eloquent presentations and reports.
6+ years of relevant experience.,1-4 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, or accounting.,Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or a similarly quantitative subject.,Hands-on experience in building and modifying complex financial/project finance models.,Demonstrated experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data.,Detailed understanding of financial ratios and their interpretation.,Demonstrated experience in drafting memos and presentations.,Demonstrated interest in the real assets sector, including infrastructure, energy, renewables, real estate, and mining.
Undergraduate and/or graduate degree
Ability to travel within Canada and abroad, as necessary.
