This role involves acting as a credit expert within the Commercial & Private Wealth Management 1859 team, collaborating with commercial account managers and external partners. The manager will conduct high-quality credit analyses, structure financing applications to mitigate risks, determine client financing needs, and negotiate credit terms. The position requires ensuring credit applications meet the Bank's profitability requirements, updating client files, and serving as a resource person for credit matters while identifying sector-specific risks. The primary goal is to positively impact colleagues and customers through expertise in commercial financing.
Perform high-quality credit analyses according to Credit Centre standards and make recommendations.,Structure credit applications by mitigating risks and developing financing scenarios that meet client needs and Bank risk criteria.,Participate in determining client financing needs in collaboration with the Commercial Account Manager.,Negotiate credit terms and conditions with Credit Risk Management as needed and confirm financing availability.,Obtain comments from Account Managers on preliminary credit applications, adjust, and present to the RVP before forwarding to Credit Risk Management.,Produce documents and update client files in collaboration with account representatives and Credit Risk Management for efficient processing.,Act as a resource person for the team in credit matters and assist in developing team members' skills.,Identify inherent risks to sector activities.
A bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, OR a master's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience, OR an undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and 8 years of relevant experience.,Negotiation experience.,Experience in commercial credit.,Experience analyzing financial statements.,Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with partners and form well-reasoned recommendations.
