Description

This role at National Bank of Canada involves working as a credit expert within the Commercial & Private wealth management 1859 team. The manager collaborates with commercial account managers and various partners to positively impact colleagues and customers through commercial financing expertise. Key responsibilities include performing high-quality credit analyses according to Credit Centre standards, structuring credit applications to mitigate risks and meet client needs, participating in determining client financing needs, negotiating credit terms with Credit Risk Management, and confirming financing availability. The role also requires obtaining and adjusting feedback on preliminary credit applications, presenting them for approval, producing and updating client files, and acting as a resource for credit matters within the team, assisting in skill development and identifying inherent sector risks.

Ideal Candidate

A bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience,OR a master's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience,OR an undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and 8 years of relevant experience
