Description
At KPMG, the Manager, Financial Analysis joins a team focused on transforming insights into opportunities for clients and communities. This role involves creating and modifying financial reports using Power BI and Excel, performing ad hoc analyses, and ensuring accuracy. The manager will collaborate with internal clients to discuss requirements, present work, and address business questions. Key responsibilities also include data management using SQL to query databases like Azure Synapse and SQL Server, identifying discrepancies, and continuously learning about data visualization best practices, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Excel, automation, and AI technology to effectively support the business with financial information.
What We're Looking For
Create and modify Power BI reports,Create financial reports and ad hoc analyses in Excel,Review reports to ensure accuracy,Discuss report requirements with end users,Meet with internal clients to answer their business questions,Demonstrate newly created reports to end users,Work with other Financial Reporting team members to solve data problems, build new reports, and discuss improvements,Use SQL to query databases in Azure Synapse and SQL Server,Identify data discrepancies,Research data visualization best practices,Develop proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Excel,Explore opportunities for increasing efficiency via automation and AI technology,Learn about the business and how to support it with financial information
Ideal Candidate
Experience creating Power BI reports,Ability to write DAX measures,Advanced Microsoft Excel skills,Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or data science,Excellent communication skills,Confidence to present work and discuss improvements with end users,Analytical problem-solving mindset
Minimum Education
