Manager, Financial Analysis

Description

This role involves joining KPMG's Financial Reporting team to prepare reports using Power BI and Excel. The manager will communicate with internal clients nationwide to present work, discuss new requests, and address business questions. Key activities include creating and modifying Power BI reports, developing financial reports and ad hoc analyses in Excel, and reviewing reports for accuracy. The position also requires collaboration with end users to understand report requirements, presenting new reports, and working with other team members to solve data problems. Data management involves using SQL to query databases in Azure Synapse and SQL Server and identifying data discrepancies. Continuous learning is expected, including researching data visualization best practices, developing proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Excel, and exploring automation and AI opportunities to increase efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Ideal Candidate

Experience creating Power BI reports,Ability to write DAX measures,Advanced Microsoft Excel skills,Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or data science,Excellent communication skills,Confidence to present work and discuss improvements with end users,Analytical problem-solving mindset
