Description

This role is for a Manager, Finance at a global bank, supporting their asset services, custody, payments, and treasury services. The position involves managing financial accounting records for Singapore, including reviewing non-trading P&L, monthly balance-sheet attestation, and preparing journals. Responsibilities also include preparing regulatory surveys, assisting with audits, supporting new business initiatives, and enhancing reporting tools. The manager will facilitate automated finance solutions, ensure compliance with RBC and statutory requirements, manage inter-group and transfer pricing invoices, and play a key role in year-end audits. Additionally, the role involves managing regulatory returns and head office reporting for finance-driven projects, performing UAT testing for new regulatory requirements, and conducting financial data analysis for process improvements and system changes.

What We're Looking For

Manage the financial accounting records for Singapore, including review and commentary of non-trading P&L, monthly balance-sheet attestation, and preparation of NIE and balance sheet journals.,Responsible for preparation and review of annual and other ad hoc surveys and queries from regulator.,Assist the manager on external and internal audit in regulatory reporting, head office reporting, and financial control.,Embrace changes for new business initiatives, work with project teams providing input on user requirements and functional specifications, drive enhancement on reporting tools, conduct user acceptance testing, and support business rollout.,Facilitate the development and roll out of Finance automated solution on Finance processes.,Manage reporting in line with RBC and statutory requirements, e.g., Standard of Documentation packages, SOX, GL attestation, home surveys, and Finance and Tax submissions to home authorities.,Manage Intra-Group and Transfer Pricing invoices and booking of corresponding entries.,Play a significant role in the year-end audit.,Responsible for regulatory returns and head office reporting on project initiatives that are driven by Finance or Business and require Finance engagement, including subject matter expertise, definition for the project, and guiding the team.,Responsible for current regulatory project enhancements related to new regulatory requirements or business initiatives, including performing UAT testing.,Conduct financial data analysis and testing associated with regulatory reporting projects and process improvements.,Responsible for system changes in relation to defects and change requests.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor degree or higher,Professional Financial Accreditation (CFA, CA/CPA etc.),7+ years of experience in banking/financial industry,Preferably with an understanding of Wealth Management, Capital Market products and drivers,Experience in a Wealth Management, Capital Markets or Bank Finance Department (Preferred),Experience with Regulatory Reporting (Preferred),Functional knowledge / experience of Finance processes and controls (Preferred),Experience in delivering process improvements across Finance (Preferred),Knowledge of accounting policies / standards (Preferred)

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree or higher, Professional Financial Accreditation (CFA, CA/CPA etc.)
