Manager, Field Sales Support, Eastern Canada

Description

This role is vital for enabling RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc. (WMFS) sales support and field sales staff to provide dedicated assistance to Estate Planning Specialists. The manager will lead, coach, develop, and empower a team of Estate Planning Assistants and Associates, ensuring excellent client care and high operational effectiveness. The individual acts as a subject matter expert and partners within and outside WMFS to enhance both client and employee experiences.

What We're Looking For

Handle talent acquisition and ensure stellar onboarding experiences for new hires.

Identify and share best practices to ensure operational effectiveness and lead change for new initiatives.

Assist staff with operational issues and provide escalation support when executive visibility is needed.

Support team member development through coaching, motivating, and empowering them to achieve goals.

Drive effective working relationships within teams.

Participate in the performance management cycle, working with Estate Planning Specialists to manage performance through coaching and leadership.

Create an environment conducive to team success and employee engagement.

Demonstrate commitment to active talent management, recruitment, and succession planning.

Valid representative's certificate in insurance of persons (financial security advisor) granted by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

Professional experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a sales or sales management role.

Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve clients and interact with RBC partners/employees across Canada.

Demonstrated people management capabilities with ability to embrace and lead change, positively impacting client and employee experience.

Strong conflict resolution skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, strong organizational and time management skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Ideal Candidate

Post-secondary education

Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning

Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation
