Description
Lead KPMG's assurance teams, ensuring correct accounting practices and methodologies for clients. Manage client assurance and tax engagements from planning to completion, participate in business plan implementation, coach and mentor staff, and work with Partners to achieve goals.
What We're Looking For
Oversee and manage various client assurance and tax engagements (Reviews & Compilations).
Manage engagements from planning to completion of statements and other deliverables.
Participate in implementing the group's business plan.
Coach, train and mentor assurance staff.
Work with Partners and various members of the Assurance practice to help them meet their goals and deliverables.
Apply KPMG's assurance and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Canadian CPA designation.
5+ years of experience working in an accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
Previous experience with Reviews and Compilation Engagements.
Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the business and develop strong relationships.
Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
Team player with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and strong leadership qualities.
Strong mentoring and performance management skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in accounting
