Oversee all transactions and assist with the daily, monthly, and annual administration of derivatives, as well as highly complex portfolios dealing in hedge and mutual funds within the Alternatives Investment team. This role acts as a second-in-command to the Senior Manager, responsible for trade processing, settlements, end-of-day accounting, and ensuring derivatives accuracy from a NAV perspective. It also involves managing team quality, setting business objectives, and promoting client service through team development.
3+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, Derivative Administration, Fund of Funds, Hedge Fund, Pension Reporting, and/or Equity Funds,Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills,Proficient in MS Office and Derivatives systems and integration,Flexibility to accommodate scheduled shift work,Oversee trade processing, settlements, and end of day accounting,Ensure overall derivatives accuracy from a NAV perspective,Manage quality of services delivered and act as first level of escalation for team/activity,Validate and implement procedures, set clear business objectives for team appraisals,Promote quality client service by motivating, coaching, and developing team members
Enrolment in CAIA/CGA/CMA/CFA is preferable
