Manager, Data Visualization & Analytics CAM

Description

The Manager, Data Visualization & Analytics CAM at CIBC is responsible for delivering advanced data analytics advice, generating research and insights for senior management decisions, and applying advanced analytical techniques. This role involves in-depth analysis to identify opportunities, developing proposals, and making recommendations. The manager will also research industry best practices for reporting and data analysis, and suggest enhancements for automated standardized reporting systems.

What We're Looking For

Identify and recommend operational changes to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness through technology or process improvements.,Drive, manage, and execute data and reporting projects aligned with CIBC's strategy, business goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.,Manage relationships with various internal partners, emphasizing client experience and collaborative success.,Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, analysis, processes, and technology solutions to diverse audiences.,Ability to produce clear, well-structured, and comprehensive business documents.,Track progress and conduct analysis of data and reports, and support the communication of performance metrics.

Ideal Candidate

Experience with programming languages and modern big data, analytical, and dashboard tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R, Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Tableau, Cognos).,Expertise in data visualization.,Proficiency in translating analytical findings into compelling, business-focused narratives for executive audiences.,Experience with data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and creating clear, impactful presentations in PowerPoint.,Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with demonstrated ability to independently identify and analyze business problems and recommend solutions.,Ability to simplify technical concepts and storytelling.,Understanding of business and process requirements to define complex processes or subsets of processes affecting a line of business.
