The Manager, Data Analytics & Automation will join KPMG's Management Consulting practice, specifically the Technology Consulting (Data, Analytics and Automation) team. This role focuses on helping clients leverage data for informed decision-making by developing and implementing advanced solutions for structured and unstructured data in complex technical environments, aiming to make organizations data-driven. The role involves daily collaboration with a worldwide network of professionals to create value from data.
Create and present data strategies, roadmaps, and data operating models. Lead the assessment and remediation of clients' data quality challenges. Implement data strategy and data management capabilities with clients. Lead the deployment and adoption of modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake). Secure 'trusted' analytics by creating transparent and well-governed (advanced) analytics processes, data platforms, and data lakes. Develop and utilize technical and industry knowledge to resolve complex client challenges and consult on leading practice solutions. Plan and execute day-to-day activities of advisory engagements for clients, including data strategy and roadmap development, business process analysis, current state assessment, future state process design, data and business case analysis, and tailoring recommendations. Lead business development by presenting thought leadership, developing winning proposals, and negotiating contracts. Provide insights and methods for data quality analysis, transformation, mapping, and cleansing. Actively collaborate on the dynamic growth of Data Management within KPMG by working on asset development and innovation.
Completed MBA or Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Data Science. 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment or in realizing data management solutions within an organization. Industry-recognized designations/certifications preferred (CDMP or DCAM). Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate strategic solutions to client stakeholders at director and operational levels. Knowledge of and experience applying governance and data management standards, such as DAMA-DMBOK, CMMI, and DCAM. Knowledge of and experience optimizing and deploying cloud-based data management platforms (e.g., Databricks, Informatica, Collibra, Snowflake).
