Lead strategic credit risk initiatives within the RESL portfolio.,Frame complex credit risk issues into clear problem statements and decision objectives.,Assess existing risk frameworks and adjudication practices to identify improvement opportunities.,Make prudent, policy-compliant, and practical recommendations for RESL business.,Lead the business risk perspective on initiatives applying advanced analytics or AI-enabled tools to enhance adjudication quality, monitoring, and risk oversight.,Build and maintain strong knowledge of RESL data, lending policies, and underwriting practices.,Partner with analytics and/or model development teams to ensure relevant outputs aligned with governance.,Actively learn and apply emerging technologies to improve credit risk insight, efficiency, and control.,Develop clear, concise executive-level materials to communicate insights, risks, progress, and recommendations.,Translate analytical findings into structured narratives for informed decision-making.,Influence outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement across risk, business, and technology.,Contribute as a trusted thought partner in credit risk strategy and modernization discussions.,Lead workstreams with accountability for scope, quality, and timelines.,Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and disciplined thinking.,Balance strategic thinking with strong organization, attention to detail, and execution discipline.
Minimum 5 years of corporate work experience, including leadership of cross-functional initiatives.,Experience contributing to or leading innovative, transformative, or non-BAU projects.,Experience partnering closely with analytics, data science, or model development teams to deliver outcomes.,Background in credit risk strategy, underwriting, or portfolio risk management; secured lending experience is an asset.,Bachelor's degree (4-year) from an accredited university.,Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related STEM field.
