Description

The Corporate Strategy and M&A team at Bell provides strategic and financial guidance to BCE's senior management. The team is responsible for managing transactions from start to finish, including identifying deals, developing strategic rationales, conducting due diligence, performing financial analysis and valuations, negotiating, obtaining executive approvals, and closing deals. They collaborate with various Bell business units to assess and execute high-impact strategic initiatives that aim to boost long-term shareholder value.

What We're Looking For

Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives, including operating models, DCFs, merger models, LBOs, and financing analyses.,Develop valuation benchmarks and analyses, including trading comparables, precedent transactions, DCFs, and sum-of-the-parts analyses.,Prepare high-quality presentations and analyses for Corporate Strategy and M&A leadership, BCE senior management, and the Board of Directors.,Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to support decision-making across all Bell's business units (e.g., Bell Corporate, Bell Consumer and Small Business, Bell Business Markets, Bell Media, Ziply Fiber).,Support due diligence processes for acquisitions and divestitures, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.,Partner with Bell operating teams to gather data, understand business drivers, and incorporate operational insights into financial and strategic analyses.,1-2 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, transaction services, corporate development, or equivalent experience in a highly analytical finance role.,University degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.,Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and corporate finance concepts.,Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop well-reasoned, data-driven conclusions.,Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.,High level of initiative, professionalism, and ability to work independently.,Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.,Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.,Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.,Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Ideal Candidate

University degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.,CPA, CBV, or CFA designation is an asset (completed or in process).
