This role involves contributing to projects by performing in-depth research, analysis, interpretation, documentation, and providing advice on complex business information, with a focus on records and information management. The manager will apply records management expertise to consult on process improvements, lead technical development, ensure compliance, provide guidance to project teams, and participate in risk management and cost optimization. They will also ensure proper classification, storage, protection, and disposal of records in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Contribute to projects through in-depth research, analysis, interpretation, documentation, and advice on business information with an emphasis on records and information management.,Apply subject matter expertise in records management to consult with the business on process improvements.,Lead technical development to deliver high-quality records management processes and procedures.,Ensure compliance with CIBC requirements, standards, work practices, processes, security standards, and records retention policies.,Use independent judgment to provide guidance to project teams.,Participate in risk management and cost optimization projects.,Support execution of a satisfactory risk plan that incorporates successful audit, continuous audit, and monitoring of records management practices.,Ensure records are properly classified, stored, protected, and disposed of according to regulatory and organizational requirements.,Work closely with business partners to gather and analyze complex records management requirements.,Facilitate solution design discussions to ensure compliance with information governance and regulatory standards.,Develop client-focused records management solutions for information classification, retention, storage, and disposal.,Prepare and validate records management solution design documents.,Support end-to-end project implementation as a records management subject matter expert.,Provide guidance to client-facing market team members, technology, and project professionals.,Oversee migration of records from shared drives to SharePoint.,Create, review, and maintain procedures and communication materials related to records management.,Conduct investigations and provide resolutions for records management issues.
Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, Records Management, or a related field.,At least 3 years of experience in a records management role, leading projects and designing solutions.,Knowledge of financial markets including commercial lending and cash management solutions.
