Manager, Campaign Design and Execution (Technical)

Description

This role within RBC's Next Best Action (NBA) Delivery team focuses on deploying data-driven, targeted client communications. The Manager will integrate, code, and execute direct marketing campaigns, including the migration of existing campaigns from SAS to Lumina (Jupiter Notebooks). It's a highly technical execution role that requires hands-on experience with data and decisioning tools.

What We're Looking For

Provide complete, accurate, and timely campaign execution.

Translate technical specifications into code for direct marketing tactics across various channels.

Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure accurate interpretation of campaign design and build.

Adhere to Data Stewardship and Governance policies, as well as privacy guidelines and ethics.

Highly skilled in data mining and development of complex campaigns.

Demonstrate leadership in process improvement and coding efficiency.

Identify and implement new methods to optimize the marketing cycle or reduce costs.

Ensure implementation of CRM concepts and CIDM best practices.

Act as a peer coach and Subject Matter Expert on data sources, channels, and CIDM standards.

Train and mentor new team members.

Ideal Candidate

3+ years of experience in relational database marketing and structured programming concepts.

Proficiency in data analytic and decisioning tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python).

Strong analytical mindset.

Ability to build strong lateral relationships and influence.

Strong project management and implementation skills.

Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work steadily and accurately under pressure.

Experience in the financial services industry with an understanding of marketing (asset).
