Description

This dynamic role in Performance Management supports Global Corporate Banking and U.S. Cash Management, offering hands-on experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The Manager will contribute to strategic growth, collaborate with senior finance leaders, and deliver insights for decision-making and operational efficiency within RBC.

What We're Looking For

Assist in preparing weekly/monthly performance packages for senior management, analyzing trends in revenue, deposit flows, expenses, and client metrics.

Support ad-hoc reporting requests (e.g., balance sheet, capital deployment, margin analysis) and contribute to process improvements.

Use data tools to analyze data and drive insights.

Contribute to annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and strategic planning processes.

Help refine data inputs, variance analysis, and commentary templates.

Collaborate with Corporate Treasury to support liquidity and balance sheet forecasting.

Assist in creating sector/product-level reports to articulate financial performance and strategic alignment.

Simplify complex financial data into clear, concise narratives for internal stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows or automate repetitive tasks.

Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Control, Business Management) to ensure data integrity.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration)

3 or more years' hands-on experience in an accounting role (FP&A, Financial Analysis) at a financial services firm (ideally banking)
