Manager, Audit
Description
This role at KPMG involves delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to both public and private organizations. The Manager will lead audit teams, ensure the correct application of accounting practices and methodologies, and oversee the entire audit process from planning to completion. A key part of the role is to work closely with clients to manage risk, provide insights, uncover opportunities, and assist with complex accounting issues to improve their efficiency and performance.
What We're Looking For
Oversee and manage client audits.,Manage the audit from planning to completion of statements.,Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing the business plan.,Work with members of the assurance management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan.,Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff.,Help clients reach solutions on their needs.,Work with clients and partners through complex accounting issues to come up with appropriate solutions.,Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.,Must have Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.,Must have relevant post-secondary degree.,8+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm.,Previous experience using IFRS working with publicly listed clients.
