Manager, Audit Future Opportunities
Description
This role involves leading KPMG's audit teams, ensuring the correct application of accounting practices and methodologies for clients. Responsibilities include managing the audit process from initial planning to the completion of statements, contributing to the practice group's business plan, and collaborating with the assurance management group to achieve financial objectives. The manager will also be responsible for counseling, training, and mentoring audit staff while consistently applying KPMG's established audit and accounting practices.
What We're Looking For
Oversee and manage the audit of clients,Manage the audit from planning to completion of statements,Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing the business plan,Work with members of the assurance management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan,Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff,Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements
Ideal Candidate
Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent,5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm,Previous experience using IFRS working with publicly listed clients,Exposure to large integrated Audit would be considered advantageous
