Manager - Counterparty Credit Risk

Description

The Manager of Counterparty Credit Risk will join the Counterparty Credit Risk Analysis and Measurement team, responsible for tasks ranging from running derivative credit sizings to conducting in-depth analyses of specific counterparty risk profiles. This role involves supporting risk analysis for bespoke and non-standard trading transactions and collaborating with the business to measure and analyze counterparty credit risk for capital markets derivatives trading. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing processes to manage counterparty credit risk.

What We're Looking For

Conduct credit sizings and ad-hoc credit event analysis.,Pro-actively investigate risks, perform derivative credit sizings and counterparty deep dives to provide analysis to senior management on risk trends and concerns.,Analyze key trading strategies and products to ensure alignment with risk tolerance and objectives.,Review significant transactions to facilitate businesses while ensuring proper risk controls.,Work with GRM Credit team to help review credit risk appetite and facilitate business activities.,Investigate issues in counterparty credit risk capturing and reporting processes and ensure accuracy of results.,Develop and code tools to automate and standardize risk measures into official credit risk engines and monitoring systems.,Assess New Business Initiatives from a Counterparty Risk Perspective.,Participate in Specific and general wrong-way-risk analysis.,Liaise with GRM Enterprise Risk and Group Risk Analytics Teams to ensure risk models are calibrated and vetted appropriately.

Ideal Candidate

Master's degree in a relevant subject such as Finance, Economics, or other quantitative discipline.,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.,Solid verbal and written communication skills.,Proven organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.,FRM, PRMIA, or CFA (Nice-to-have).,Good command and hands-on experience with Excel, Python, VBA programming, SQL or equivalent programming languages (Nice-to-have).,Hands-on experience developing and implementing agentic AI solutions and evaluating agent performance to solve business-critical problems (Nice-to-have).
