Description

KPMG is seeking a Manager for their Accounting Advisory Services team in Montreal. This role involves providing technical accounting advice, helping clients with complex accounting issues, and supporting financial reporting activities during periods of change. The ideal candidate is passionate about technical accounting, ESG strategy and reporting, and client service.

What We're Looking For

Execute delivery of accounting advisory engagements under multiple accounting frameworks (IFRS, U.S. GAAP, ASPE),

Take ownership of engagements from start to finish with strong project management skills,

Stay current on financial reporting standards, ESG, securities, and regulatory requirements,

Assist clients with financial reporting activities during acquisitions, divestitures, and transactions,

Prepare financial statements and working papers, liaise with auditors,

Evaluate accounting, reporting, and disclosure standards, prepare analyses and draft reports,

Develop fit-for-purpose solutions based on client preferences and business constraints,

Collaborate with broader KPMG advisory teams on process/control redesign and business implications of accounting changes

Ideal Candidate

Relevant post-secondary degree,

CPA, CA (or recognized national accounting designation),

5+ years' experience in Audit or Accounting Advisory
