This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment, adhering to safety protocols and maintenance systems to achieve business goals. The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting activities.
Diagnose equipment problems using test results, error messages, operator input, and diagnostic tools (e.g., voltmeters).
Clean, lubricate, adjust, disassemble, and reassemble machinery and equipment.
Inspect parts for defects; repair or replace malfunctioning components.
Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain industrial production and processing equipment, including hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo controls, conveyors, printers, valves, sensors, heat exchangers, and level controls.
Refer to blueprints and manufacturer manuals for proper installation and operation.
Operate and support industrial systems including refrigeration, boiler, and utility operations.
Perform metal fabrication tasks (cutting and welding).
Program and operate computer-controlled machinery.
Demonstrate equipment functions to machine operators.
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to unplanned maintenance needs.
Accurately document maintenance activities, work orders, and PM records in SAP or other ERP systems.
Comply with all SOPs, safety regulations, GMP, SQF, and 5S guidelines.
Uphold company values and ethics, working professionally with team members and other departments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 year(s) prior industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, and utility systems.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read schematics and operate computerized/automated controls.
Familiarity with SAP and other ERP systems for maintenance planning.
Willingness to work second shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (scheduled days off: Monday & Tuesday OR Thursday & Friday); 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM- 8:00 AM (scheduled days off: Monday & Tuesday OR Thursday & Friday)
