Maintenance Technician

Description

This role at Saputo involves performing maintenance on manufacturing process equipment, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and executing preventative maintenance tasks. The technician will also adjust machinery to improve quality and efficiency, monitor production lines for abnormalities, and ensure the optimal operation of safety features. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to minimize downtime and maintain equipment efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Perform maintenance activities on all manufacturing process equipment in all areas of the plant at a fundamental level.,Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic production and/or packaging equipment issues at a fundamental level.,Perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment at a fundamental level.,Perform adjustments to machinery and work with machine operators on problems to improve quality and efficiency of packaging lines at a fundamental level.,Monitor the production/packaging lines and report any abnormal condition(s) of the machines to the appropriate individuals.,Monitor and maintain in optimal operational condition all safety features and systems on the machinery and equipment at a fundamental level.,Communicate effectively with all employees, supervisors and managers in troubleshooting equipment to ensure minimal equipment downtime and peak equipment efficiency.,Attend various mandatory safety and departmental meetings.,Communicate in a courteous and positive manner to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team with all involved.,Assist other personnel as needed and perform other duties essential to the department as requested by your supervisor.
