Maintenance Technician

Repair and maintain production equipment, both processing and packaging,Troubleshoot equipment failures and breakdowns,Work with scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Work Order system,Responsible for mechanical overhaul, shop machines and tools,Other duties as required

Possess engineering technologist diploma and/or industrial mechanic (millwright) (strong asset),Experience in a food processing facility (asset),Experience with automatic controls/PLC’s (asset),Strong independent work ethic,Ability to function within a highly integrated team environment,Previous production experience (asset),Experience or ability to be trained in operating multiple pieces of processing equipment,Demonstrated solid multi-tasking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills,Safety Focused,Advanced mechanical and technical aptitude,Proven communication and inter-personal skills,Exhibit initiative, positive attitude, good judgement, diligence,Excellent work and attendance record
