Maintenance Mechanic

Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment.,Repair/rebuild various plant and process equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, etc.).,Repair/rebuild/replace hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and understand flow controls.,Understand and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).,Repair/replace instrumentation (level sensors, RTD’s, chart recorders, prox sensors, photo eyes).,Use a CMMS for work orders, PMs, inventory, and parts ordering.,Operate forklifts and aerial platforms.,Perform Preventative Maintenance.,Drill, file, grind, and cut various materials.,Saw various metals.,Weld various metals (wire feed, stick, TIG) and polish stainless steel to 3A standards.,Machine various materials (mill and/or lathe).,Perform electrical troubleshooting (amp and voltage readings, fuse testing, electrical prints).,Repair/replace electrical components (fuses, relays, transformers, wiring).,Start, stop, adjust, and troubleshoot the ammonia system; replace/repair ammonia equipment.,Possess working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.,Repair HVAC systems and controls.,Repair, inspect, replace door systems.,Perform plumbing tasks (repairing/replacing fixtures, clearing clogs, piping, repairing water heaters).,Repair/replace equipment on the steam system (valves, traps, return pumps); conduct boiler water tests and operate boiler.,Work with co-workers and supervisor to resolve maintenance problems.,Work weekends and holidays as needed.,Keep work area and tools clean and organized.
