The Machine Learning Researcher at RBC Borealis will join a team of leading researchers and software engineers specializing in machine learning. This role involves applying machine learning technology to challenging problems, including generative AI, natural language processing, and time series analysis. The researcher will utilize rich datasets and computational resources to develop novel products and solutions for the banking sector, conduct original and publishable research, and collaborate with development teams to bring research into production.
Develop novel AI solutions that facilitate impactful products.,Conduct original, publishable research by advancing state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.,Work with the development team to transfer research work into production.,Interpret larger organizational needs and design algorithmic solutions to drive next-generation banking experiences.,Identify relevant new AI technologies as they become available and disseminate them into the bank's technology capabilities.
A passion for solving open problems using data and algorithms.,A PhD in a sub-area of AI or demonstrated research track record by means of publications and/or sophisticated AI product experience.,Ability to formulate and drive a research project independently without close supervision.,Proficiency in Python and Deep Learning packages such as Tensorflow or PyTorch.
