Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems across plant equipment.,Accurately document all work completed in daily Individual Shift Reports.,Maintain adequate inventory levels by properly logging parts usage and notifying supervisors of low stock.,Conduct general building maintenance and repairs as needed.,Perform electrical repairs on single-phase and three-phase power distribution systems.,Troubleshoot and repair equipment control wiring and electrical systems.,Inspect equipment and independently perform corrective actions within the scope of a Class B Maintenance Technician.,Adhere to safety procedures, GMP standards, and proper repair practices at all times.,Execute assigned equipment repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks independently.,Perform additional duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent.,Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience, or 2 years with relevant technical training specific to facility equipment.,Proficient in single-phase electrical systems and motors.,Advanced knowledge of three-phase electrical distribution systems.,Ability to read electrical schematics and effectively troubleshoot control circuits.,Proficient in the use of electrical testing instruments (e.g., continuity testers, amp meters, voltage testers).,Strong mechanical aptitude with experience performing complex equipment repairs and adjustments.,Ability to interpret and apply information from equipment and parts manuals.,Capable of identifying parts requirements and communicating reorder needs.,Skilled in performing and documenting preventive maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems.,Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
