Loan Closer III (US)

Description

This role supports Consumer and Mortgage Loan Processing by preparing loan closing documents. The Loan Closer III collaborates with closing agents to ensure all necessary information is provided, performs quality reviews, and conducts quality control analysis of loan documentation.

What We're Looking For

Prepare legal, regulatory and custom closing documentation within established Company policies and procedures and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.,Review loan documentation prior to sending documents to closing agents to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance to state and federal lending regulations.,Work with closing agents to ensure necessary information is provided to complete loan closing packages.,Complete quality control analysis of standard and nonstandard loan documentation, ensure data integrity and perform various functions related to the workgroup to avert losses and reduce undue risk.,Act as mentor and resource to Loan Closer I and Loan Closer II.,Provide training to Loan Closer I and Loan Closer II.,May assist Loan Closer Team Lead.,Furnish on-site training to new Retail Loan Closers in addition to reinforcement training.,May manage the daily workflow of files throughout the day to ensure completion by Closers to meet the appropriate timeframe for the scheduled closing.,Answer phones to assist internal and external customers.

Ideal Candidate

Strong working knowledge of applicable lending practices.,Advanced understanding and ability to apply processing procedures and processes.,Extremely detail oriented with ability to audit and correct procedural errors.,Ability to maintain positive business relationships with partners, customers and agents.,Strong ability to handle heavy workload and meet stringent deadlines.,Ability to interact effectively with internal customers from various departments.,Strong working knowledge of Bank's loan products.,Excellent oral and written communication skills.,Excellent PC skills.,Excellent customer service skills.,Availability to work a variable schedule which may include nights and/or weekends.

Minimum Education

Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree
