The Line Haul Regional Team Lead at Intelcom is responsible for managing linehaul transportation and logistics processes between stations and hubs. This role involves developing strategies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and ensure adherence to quality, customer satisfaction, and financial objectives. Key duties include reporting metrics, analyzing data for process improvements, collaborating with external partners (suppliers, vendors, customers), and leading and developing team members. The role also requires monitoring regional carrier performance against budgets and schedules.
Manage linehaul transportation and logistics processes between Stations & Hubs.,Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.,Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.,Perform metrics reporting and data analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.,Partner and communicate with suppliers, vendors and customers.,Manage and develop staff.,Monitor regional carrier on time and budget performance.
3+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.,Firm grasp of Transportation conditions in Canada including geographic challenges.,Management principles.,3-5 years of experience in the transportation industry with solid leadership and line haul experience.,Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.,A strong sense of entrepreneurship, an ability to cope quickly with unforeseen events and changes.,Knowledge of current transport laws and regulations.,Flexibility and ability to travel when required.,Ideally can communicate in French and in English.
