The Licensed Insurance Advisor position at RBC Insurance Advice Centre involves proactively engaging with clients via phone to provide tailored life and health insurance advice and solutions. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, building strong client relationships, and contributing to individual and team sales targets by identifying opportunities and making referrals to deepen client relationships.
Proactively interact with clients over the phone to identify potential Life and Health insurance opportunities, providing exceptional client experience.,Complete personalized needs assessments and reviews using available tools and resources to support advice recommendations.,Maintain a consistent, positive client experience and resolve concerns at the first point of contact, building relationships through meaningful discussions.,Apply critical thinking to analyze risks during client interactions to ensure appropriate coverage alignment.,Effectively and seamlessly use procedures during calls.,Contribute to team sales plan by achieving new business goals, offering appropriate solutions, and proactively referring clients for other solutions.,Possession of a Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).,Flexibility to work all shifts within the hours of operation (Monday – Friday 8:00am – 8:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am – 4:30pm).,Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with clients.,Digital literacy across a broad range of services (e.g., laptops, smartphones, tablets).
Possession of a Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).,Post-secondary education (nice-to-have).,Knowledge of insurance products (nice-to-have).,Experience in a proactive sales environment (nice-to-have).,Customer service and/or sales experience in a contact centre environment (nice-to-have).
37.5 hours/week; shifts within Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am-4:30pm.
Must be willing to work all shifts within the hours of operation.
