Description

This role at Saputo involves performing various maintenance and upkeep tasks on the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment of automated production and packaging lines, as well as the plant's building and services. The position focuses on ensuring equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving breakdowns, and contributing to process optimization and electrical installations.

What We're Looking For

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment for automated production and packaging lines.,Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.,Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to maintain production objectives.,Execute tasks according to established priorities and deadlines.,Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers on projects.,Perform electrical installations and propose improvements to optimize processes.,Communicate work progress and provide training to employees as needed.,Perform other related maintenance and production tasks.

Ideal Candidate

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.,Post-secondary education in a related field (electromechanics, industrial mechanics, automation, etc.).,Possession of an electrical certificate (License C or CRCA certificate) (an asset).,Training and experience with PLC (an asset).,Proficiency in common computer tools (MS Office suite).,Experience with maintenance management software (an asset).,Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.,Ability to work with minimal supervision.,Initiative, proactivity, and excellent work organization skills.

Work Hours

Night shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; 3-2-2-3 rotation (3 days worked, 2 days off, 2 days worked, 3 days off)
