Saputo offers a positive, clean, and development-conducive environment. The Electromechanic will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on equipment for different production and bottling lines, as well as the plant's building and services.
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment for automated production and packaging lines.,Perform inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment.,Troubleshoot and repair equipment in case of breakdown to ensure production objectives are met.,When assigned to certain sectors, perform surveillance rounds of fixed machine equipment.,Execute tasks according to established priorities, equipment, and material availability.,Facilitate adherence to deadlines and efficiency of dairy product production and packaging.,Communicate work and project progress to relevant individuals.,Provide training to plant employees, as needed.,Work with external companies to successfully complete projects.,Perform electrical installations.,Conduct failure analyses and suggest measures to improve process efficiency.,Ensure planned work is completed according to schedules.
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.,Post-secondary education in a related field (electromechanics, industrial mechanics, automation, etc.).,Possess MMF class 3A competency certification (an asset), otherwise be willing to undertake the certification process (paid by Saputo).,Possess an electricity certificate (License C or CRCA certificate) (an asset).,Training and experience with PLC (an asset).,Proficiency in common computer tools (MS Office suite).,Experience with maintenance management software (an asset).
