This role is pivotal in ensuring Charles River Laboratories' talent and learning processes operate efficiently, consistently, and at scale. The incumbent will lead the execution of enterprise programs, including leadership development, performance management, succession planning, engagement, career frameworks, learning delivery, and digital roadmaps. The role involves managing a team that coordinates these programs, administers tools and assessments, handles learning logistics, tracks completions, maintains reporting, and manages communications. This position requires close collaboration with Talent Partners, Talent Technology, Digital Solutions, and Learning & Development teams to operationalize strategies effectively.
Translate talent and learning process strategy into clear, repeatable operational workflows.
Lead learning delivery execution (session setup, facilitator coordination, registration, roster tracking, course maintenance).
Manage assessment program operations (e.g., 360 assessments, team diagnostics).
Support CVP in creating alignment with stakeholders across various levels (HR executives, business executives, TM team, HRT teams, IT teams).
Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of GTM&D processes and programs.
Coordinate enterprise talent processes (performance cycles, OTR preparation, engagement administration, career framework rollout).
Supervise A2–A3 staff providing learning operations, talent coordination, reporting, and administrative support.
Oversee communications, templates, calendars, and readiness materials.
Provide operational backbone for process execution for Talent Partners.
Collaborate with Digital Solutions for system configuration and workflow needs.
Partner with People Analytics on dashboards, metrics, and outcome reporting.
Identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and scaling of operational processes.
7+ years experience in L&D operations, HR program management, or talent operations.
Experience coordinating learning and talent management programs at scale.
Demonstrated ability to lead mid-level professionals.
Experience collaborating across HR functions and COEs.
Experience with SuccessFactors, Eightfold, and LMS administration preferred.
HR or project management certifications preferred.
