As a Lead Technical Security Analyst within the Identity & Access Management team at Royal Bank of Canada, you will provide technical support for provisioning services, focusing on passwordless authentication solutions like Secret Double Octopus, RSA Token, and Microsoft Entra ID. Responsibilities include daily incident response, knowledge management, coordinating and reporting on key IAM controls, and automating manual processes. The role involves partnering with architecture, security, and other application teams to build on the team's skillset and ensure objectives are met.

What We're Looking For

Provide technical support for select catalog items supported by the IAM Access Request Provisioning team, focusing on passwordless authentication (e.g., Secret Double Octopus), RSA Token, and Microsoft Entra ID.,Act as subject matter expert for passwordless journeys, including enrollment, recovery, and step-up authentication across web, mobile, and desktop channels.,Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents, including on-call participation for production issues impacting login and access.,Perform root-cause analysis for complex authentication and access issues, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.,Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks.,Create and maintain dashboards, knowledge base, and service catalog of supported items.,Support, maintain, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and business service level agreements are met.,Coordinate, report, and take appropriate actions on various key IAM controls across RBC and its subsidiaries.,Analyze usage metrics and feedback to optimize user experience and adoption of passwordless authentication.,Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on IAM tools and support processes.,Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.,Establish strong working relationships within the team and across business units & platforms.
