Description

This role involves working as a Lead Software Developer within the Finance Information and Audit Technology department, specifically on the Financial Management and Statutory Reporting (FMSR) application. The FMSR application supports the bank's financial needs by performing management accounting calculations, maintaining balances in an Oracle database for consolidation, and generating various status reports required by regulatory bodies like the Bank of Canada. The successful candidate will be involved in development deliverables for this application.

What We're Looking For

Understand and determine the best mix of development and technical solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives, in collaboration with the Product Owner, Product Manager, and Development Lead.,Work on detailed design and development phases of project initiatives, including identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues.,Design and implement automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.,Ensure adequate technical/reference documentation and training are in place.,Provide assistance to quality engineering and application support teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution.,Impart knowledge, experience, and mentoring to other team members.
