Description

As a Lead Auditor on the Wealth Management team at National Bank, this role involves supporting partners in risk management and leading audit engagements focused on key risks. Responsibilities include understanding processes and governance, leading audit work, assessing internal controls, analyzing issues, and presenting results to management. The role also involves coaching colleagues and utilizing AI tools to optimize audit engagements. The position is within a team of 6, reporting to a Senior Director, promoting work-life balance and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For

Understand the processes, governance framework, and best practices within the Wealth Management sector to identify key areas to audit based on risks and emerging issues.,Lead and/or carry out audit work on a specific sector or process.,Assess internal controls, analyze identified issues, help determine root causes, and support managers in identifying innovative and practical solutions to address those causes.,Draft findings and present the results of the work to senior management and the executives responsible for the processes reviewed.,Use artificial intelligence tools available to optimize work at every stage of the audit engagement.,Knowledge of National Bank's Wealth Management sector, the securities industry, or compliance.,Ability to analyze data, diagnose issues, solve complex problems, and demonstrate innovation.,Strong ability to simplify and synthesize information.
