Lead Animator (R27175)
Description
This role involves leading animation efforts for Fortnite, focusing on Emotes and animations for various IP partners and original Epic content. The successful candidate will drive concepts from initial animation to final implementation in Unreal Engine, collaborate with internal and external art teams, and help shape the animation style and identity of Fortnite. Epic Games aims to create a collaborative, welcoming, and creative environment, continuously innovating in game and engine development.
What We're Looking For
Supervise, guide, and lead character-specific animations (dances, emotes) in Maya and Unreal using the ART toolset.,Drive emotes from initial concept through animation to final implementation in Unreal Engine.,Collaborate with various art areas within Epic and with external vendor/partner teams.,Lead the growing library of cosmetic animations/emotes offered to players, helping to shape and direct Fortnite's animation style and identity.
Ideal Candidate
Leadership experience, including participation in the launch of at least one title.
