Description

The IT Project Coordinator at CIBC is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and following up on information requests within a team. This role supports resourcing, budgeting, planning, compliance, and other requested services. The coordinator uses independent judgment, provides technical guidance to project teams, and gathers expert input, working with limited direction to support the development and maintenance of technology platforms, processes, procedures, and governance models.

What We're Looking For

Support Project Managers throughout all project management lifecycle phases.,Develop, manage and control schedules by updating, making mitigation decisions, and escalating as appropriate to the Project Manager.,Track progress and make recommendations on response plans for risks, resolution plans for issues, and results on action items and make decisions on required escalations.,Track and reconcile financials, ensure resolution of anomalies, update and reconcile latest estimates, ensure actuals to plan, and make escalating recommendations as appropriate.

Ideal Candidate

1-2 years of experience managing all facets of a project as an IT Project Coordinator.,Hands-on experience creating project artifacts and supporting Project Managers during the project management lifecycle.,Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.,Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and enterprise development concepts.
