Description

This role is for an IT Data Specialist within the Financial Crime & Risk Management (FCRM) Technology team at TD Bank. The specialist will focus on Oracle Transaction Monitoring and Customer Risk Rating solutions, primarily designing, developing, and maintaining technology platforms for detecting suspicious and fraudulent payment activity. Key responsibilities include leading data initiatives, implementing data controls, investigating and resolving data issues, and ensuring data integrity across various FCRM systems. The position emphasizes modernizing technology and capabilities in line with enterprise roadmaps and involves significant cross-team collaboration.

What We're Looking For

Lead data initiatives within the FCRM team, collaborating globally to gather business requirements and develop execution plans.,Lead business and technology discussions to develop and implement Data Quality requirements and data controls for FCRM systems.,Design and implement data controls and develop processes to ensure data integrity from source to target.,Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and SQL.,Efficiently troubleshoot database and data pipeline issues; independently perform data profiling, root cause analysis, and analyze Source to Target Mappings documents to identify data issues and assist with implementing solutions.,Lead global triage meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to determine fixes for identified data issues.,Define metrics to measure the quality of data obtained across source systems.,Automate data processing tasks and build scalable solutions.,Independently assess and improve existing documentation to ensure end-to-end process traceability.,Collaborate with teams to integrate databases with applications and analytics platforms.,Foster an environment and culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.

Ideal Candidate
