IT Asset Analyst

Description

The IT Asset Associate Analyst will manage day-to-day Hardware Asset Management Processes, including fulfillment, rapid replacement, recovery of failed equipment, and supporting operations for the IT Asset Repository. This role involves tracking IT commodity purchases, deployment, maintenance, utilization, recovery, and disposal of hardware to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and maximize IT responsiveness and colleague productivity.

What We're Looking For

Manage hardware asset reconciliation and audit activities, including financial, warranty, and maintenance information.,Maintain precise documentation and accurate usage of the asset tracking system, adhering to internal processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.,Work with Stewards and process managers to integrate Hardware and Software Asset Management with other service management processes (Change, Release, Incident, QA/Reconciliation, Enterprise Procurement, Technology Lifecycle Management).,Enforce IT Asset Management processes, policies, standards, and work instructions in compliance with the IT controls framework.,Identify Configuration Items (CIs) for Asset, Configuration Management, and Inventory.,Define CI types and levels of detail.,Explore opportunities to maximize or exploit unused IT assets for financial and usage efficiency.,5+ years of experience in deskside support, including hardware/software troubleshooting, network connectivity, user account management, and end-user training.,Mobile device management (MDM) experience with phones and laptops (setup, configuration, security, remote troubleshooting).,Proficiency in ServiceNow for managing incident tickets, service requests, and report generation.,Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).,Proven expertise in maintaining data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and security.
