IT Architect, Manufacturing (OT)

Description

The IT Architect, Manufacturing (OT) at Saputo is responsible for developing technical architecture, managing intake for I&S, and supporting technical architecture governance. This role drives the intake process from initial request to high-level analysis and solutioning, engaging stakeholders for detailed design, and maintaining architectural standards and documentation. The architect will also perform planning, estimating, and roadmap definition for IT initiatives and emerging technologies, collaborating with other IT functions and global business stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Execute intake processes for technical architecture, including requirements gathering, consulting with specialists, investigating solutions, and high-level design.,Build trusted advisor relationships and influential partnerships with peer architects/SMEs/specialists leveraging strong technology expertise.,Develop high-level solution architecture spanning multiple work streams, identifying dependencies, conducting solutions/options analysis, and leading proof of concepts.,Consult, develop estimates (time, resources, cost) for projects and support planning.,Consult, develop, manage, and maintain architecture standards, reference architectures, and documentation repository.,Conduct architectural reviews, facilitate review meetings, and ensure alignment to standards, supporting technical architecture governance.,Maintain technology roadmaps.,Collaborate with architects from other IT functions (Enterprise, Digital, Security, Applications etc.).,Conduct research to identify potential solutions, future trends, and innovations in technology, assessing applicability to I&S.,Provide subject matter expertise on technical architecture.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience.,8 years' progressive work experience focused on architecting, designing and implementing infrastructure systems.,Deep expertise in at least two infrastructure domains (e.g., compute, network, security) with support for full lifecycle management.,Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.,Strong knowledge in Cloud platforms.,Strong analytical skills (quantitative and iterative), coupled with strong ability to produce detailed technical documentation.,Strong understanding of architecture frameworks and best practices (e.g., TOGAF).,Knowledge of IT security management practices and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP).,3-5 years' experience in a senior IT network role.,3-5 years working within the OT domain, either in a consultant capacity or as part of an organization's internal OT function.,Deep expertise in at least two IT/OT infrastructure domains (e.g., Network Architecture, Inventory Gathering, Situational Review, Endpoint Protection, Policy & Governance, Standards, compute, network, storage, backups, disaster recovery and security) with support for full lifecycle management.,Experience working in a consultant capacity or within an organization's OT environment to establish IT/OT roadmaps to a target Architecture.,Experience leading an assessment or evaluation of an IT/OT environment, including execution, analysis of results, and formulation of a final report.,Minimum Cisco CCNA required, CCNP Certified is preferred or at least relevant qualifications from another.,Experience with security solutions such as DDoS, IPS, PCI compliance.,Strong Knowledge in Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Microsoft 365).
