Description

This role involves joining CIBC's Investment Specialist team in Personal and Business Banking. The specialist will engage with existing clients to provide investment planning advice, foster new client relationships through community business development, and collaborate with banking center teams to enhance client relationships and achieve financial goals. The position focuses on client engagement, business development, and community involvement to heighten CIBC's brand awareness.

Work closely with other CIBC Banking Centre employees to build lasting connections with existing clients.,Provide investment planning advice to enable clients' financial success.,Facilitate new client relationships by participating in business development activities within the community of banking centres.,Focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level.,Collaborate with Banking Centre teams to enhance existing relationships by providing personalized investment advice and comprehensive planning support.,Understand local market and potential client base to build a sales plan.,Use strong relationship building and networking skills to generate opportunities.,Initiate local marketing and outreach activities to heighten CIBC brand awareness.,Establish local contacts and partner with community organizations.,Act like an owner, taking the lead and delivering results.,Be driven to succeed, accomplishing goals and making an impact.,Be passionate about people, finding meaning in relationships and building trust.,Be driven by collective success, valuing collaboration and inclusive teamwork.,Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).,Ability to complete Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC – Quebec based employees only) within the first year of employment. CFP or IQPF also satisfy this requirement.
