Description

The Investment Specialist will join CIBC’s Personal and Business Banking team, focusing on building client relationships and providing investment planning advice to help clients achieve financial success. The role also involves facilitating new client relationships through business development activities within the community. It operates under a hybrid work arrangement.

Engage with clients on a personal level, offering personalized investment advice and comprehensive planning support to meet financial goals.

Develop a sales plan by understanding the local market and potential client base, converting leads into lasting client relationships through strong networking skills.

Enhance CIBC's brand awareness through local marketing and outreach, partnering with community organizations to generate future opportunities.

Possess current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).

Complete Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC – Quebec based employees only) within the first year (CFP or IQPF also satisfy this requirement).

Fluent in French and English to serve clients.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
